Larry David continues his satirical, grumpy look at history in episode two of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness.
The first episode of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness opened strong with Larry David skipping through history with several touchstone moments. President Barack Obama opened the series with narration in the cold-open, setting up the episode, which started with the Declaration of Independence, the invention of the telephone, World War I, and Rosa Parks. This week, “Farewell” continues the sketch comedy series that takes a look at the history of the United States as a 250th birthday present. The second episode leads right into the Fourth of July and the 250th anniversary of the United States earning its independence.
