This years Emmy Awards will be hosted by Nate Bargatze at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles
This weekend the 77th annual Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, handing out the iconic gold statue for excellence in television. If you too want to be a part of the glamour and prestige here’s how to watch the show from the comfort of your couch.
The Emmy Awards will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles this Sunday, Sept. 14th at 5 p.m. PST/ 8 p.m EST. Grammy-nominated comedian Nate Bargatze is set to host the event for the first time.
The show will be available to stream live only on Paramount+ for premium subscribers via a live local affiliate link and on demand. Subscribers who have Paramount+ Essential will not have the option to stream the show live. They will instead have to wait until the next day to stream it on demand.
“ET: Live on the Emmys Red Carpet” will be the official pre-show this year. It will air live for one hour on the CBS Television Network, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. PT, hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner. Paramount+ subscribers can also stream the per-show live from their local CBS affiliate service and on demand.
Pluto TV, a free streaming service, will also have the pre-show available to watch through Entrainment Tonight’s channel. After the pre-show, Pluto TV will continue the night with special Emmy-themed coverage through Monday, Sept. 15.
This year, awards will be given out across 26 categories, including outstanding drama and lead actress in a comedy series. Hit shows like “The Studio,” “Severance” and “The Penguin” are leading the nominations this year.
