KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals are taking on the Minnesota Twins in an American League Central series starting on Friday, August 8.
While fans in Kansas City must pay for the FanDuel Sports Network streaming service or pay to add it to an existing Amazon Prime account if they want to watch every game, the final game of the three-game series (8/7, 12:05 p.m.) will be streaming for free. It’ll be part of Roku’s “Sunday Leadoff” games.

If you’re busy during game time, the game will be available to watch in its entirety after its conclusion. That’s available on your Roku device and The Roku Channel six hours after the game wraps up.

The free game comes at an interesting time for Royals fans, who can watch their team try and fight their way into an AL Wild Card slot. As of Thursday, the Royals are 57-58, four games back from the last Wild Card spot.
Newly acquired right-hander Ryan Bergert (1-1, 2.83 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Royals. The Twins are yet to announce who will take the mound for them at Kauffman Stadium. First pitch is at 12:05 p.m.
