As soon as Rashmika posted an adorable and intimate picture from the wedding with a touching write up on her husband and actor Vijay Devarakonda, it received lakhs of likes and comments from her followers who wished the couple on their new chapter in life. While Rashmika’s post amassed a staggering 18 million likes without any collaboration, Vijay’s post also secured close to 15 million likes before the end of 24 hours. 

Before this occasion, other Indian celebrity wedding pictures that garnered huge fan engagement were that of Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani ‘s marriage ceremony and also Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt nuptials, which saw million of likes and comments on Instagram. 

Not just film or sports personalities, the elaborate weddings of business tycoons and political luminaries also often become the cynosure of the public due to their obsession towards the grandeur and the lavishness attached to such events. 

No doubt Rashmika is a National Crush and commands phenomenal pan-India craze because of her success in both Bollywood and South Cinema, but she managed to set a new record with most number of likes for post by surpassing even the globally acclaimed sports legend like Virat Kohli whose 2024 world cup victory picture secured close to 18 million views in the first 24 hours.
