Ian McKellen & Tramell Tillman Join Johnny Depp in Ti West’s ‘Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol’

Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings) and Tramell Tillman (“Severance”) are joining Johnny Depp and Andrea Riseborough in Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, Deadline reports.

The new take on Charles Dickens‘ 1843 novel will be released on November 13, 2026 via Paramount.

Ti West is directing from a script by Nathaniel Halpern.

A thrilling ghost story set in Dickens’ London, the film follows one man’s supernatural journey to face his past, present, and future and fight for a second chance.

Depp will star as Ebenezer Scrooge. Sources say Tillman will play the Ghost of Christmas Present. Riseborough and McKellen’s roles are unknown at this time.
