I’m A Celebrity South Africa star Scarlett Moffatt has announced she is pregnant with her second child.
Scarlett Moffatt was among the celebrity contestants who ventured back into the wilderness for this year’s I’m A Celebrity…South Africa.
The television personality joined 11 other recognisable names vying for the coveted Jungle Legend crown; sadly, she just fell short of securing a spot in the live finale, exiting the competition on Thursday evening (April 23).
When the contestants gather on Friday night for the live finale to crown the champion, Scarlett will sport a rather different look from her jungle appearance – which was recorded towards the close of 2025 – having recently revealed she’s pregnant with baby number two.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Scarlett chatted with Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh about her pregnancy news, sharing details about her current stage.
She said: “We’re so grateful, like genuinely never thought it would happen to us again. So, we’re eternally grateful. I think it still doesn’t feel real yet.”
Throughout her jungle stint, Scarlett candidly discussed her fertility challenges, including experiencing a miscarriage with her fiancé, Scott Dobinson, reports Wales Online.
Reflecting with Kate and Ranvir on revisiting those emotional scenes, she continued: “It was so moving watching that, knowing that now we are in a position where Jude’s going to get a baby brother or sister.
“For me, it was important to talk about. I mean, in there, you forget the cameras are there, you haven’t got a phone or TV or anything. You talk such deep chats in there and form such close bonds.
“I think you do open up, and for me, I felt so lonely during that time that I think if one person watched that and doesn’t feel as lonely, I’m really pleased that I made myself vulnerable and opened up.”
When Ranvir enquired about how many months pregnant she was, the ITV personality kept things close to her chest, simply responding: “A few months now.”
Pressed on whether she was being cautious to ‘tempt fate’, Scarlett clarified: “I think it’s a bit of privacy.”
The 35-year-old welcomed her firstborn, a son named Jude, in 2023. Earlier this week, she announced the happy news on Instagram with an adorable clip featuring the family of three and an ultrasound image.
Her post read: “We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say. our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother.
“And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock. Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible.”
The live final of I’m A Celebrity…South Africa airs on Friday April 24 at 7:30pm and 10pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Good Morning Britain is available to watch on ITV weekdays from 6am.
