Lula Lahfah, a popular Indonesian internet personality, died on Jan. 23. She was 26.
The content creator was found dead in an apartment building in the Dharmawangsa neighborhood of South Jakarta, Indonesia, by security officers in the evening of Jan. 23, said Metro Jaya Police’s Head of Public Relations Kombes Budi Hermanto, per celebrity.land Indonesia.
“Currently, South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit officers are still processing the crime scene (TKP) to investigate the incident and are coordinating with the family,” Hermanto added, the outlet reported.
Lahfah — who had a combined following of over 3.3 million across Instagram and TikTok — was known for sharing lifestyle and beauty content online. She first rose to fame online by posting covers of popular songs to the music site SoundCloud, eventually releasing a few original songs of her own.
According to celebrity.land Indonesia, Lahfah had several health issues and spent New Year’s in the hospital for physical discomfort she was experiencing.
Lahfah continued to post regularly on social media until a few days before her death, last sharing posts to Instagram and TikTok on Jan. 21.
Weird Genius, a music group that includes Lahfah’s boyfriend, Reza Oktovian, cancelled its Jan. 23 show hours before the news of Lahfah’s death was widely reported, citing the “unfortunate news of one of our members,” noting that said member was “not currently in a prime condition and shape to be on the stage.”

“This situation is beyond our control, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” the band added in a statement shared on Instagram.
