Micah and Sarah Wallace’s family is getting bigger!
The popular influencers, who recently went viral for the way they entertain their son Shelton, 20 months, are expecting their second baby together, revealing their exciting pregnancy news exclusively with PEOPLE. The couple found out they were expecting another little one back in April, with Sarah explaining she “just had an inclination” she was pregnant.
Sarah decided to take a test she had leftover from her first pregnancy, although it had recently expired. After receiving a negative result, she opted to take another one and quickly realized that the expiration date on the test does matter.
“I was like, ‘I don’t believe it,’ so then I went out a few days … later [and] bought a new pack, took two, they were both positive, and I was like, ‘I knew it,’ ” she recalls. “I was happy, because when I got the negative one, I was disappointed, because we were hoping for it.”

After confirming what she already knew, the mom-to-be immediately began setting up a small reveal for her husband. Micah jokingly remembers Sarah being a “little sneaky,” as he was editing something before they finished getting ready to head to an event.
“She was in our bedroom, and she got the phone set up and had the test, and was like, ‘Hey, could you come and help me pick out an outfit? I’m between these two options,’ or something like that, and so then I come in, and she’s sitting there with the test, and I was like, ‘Oh,’ he says. “That was pretty great, and I cried.”
“I don’t know why, but I was more emotional for this one than I was for [their son Shelton],” Micah continues. “It was really special, and so we’re excited.”
Sarah tells PEOPLE that her pregnancy has been “pretty similar” to her first, adding that the only difference is that the nausea has been “a little bit worse” this time around.
“I got nauseous at night when I was pregnant with Shelton, and the same thing has happened this time,” she explains. “I have been nauseous at night, and it’s just been a little bit more extreme this time, but I haven’t gotten sick or anything, so I’m grateful for that.”
Aside from her nausea, Sarah says her baby bump is growing a lot faster than before, making the entire experience even more real.
“The bump is bumping a lot faster than it did the first one, which I guess, people say that that’s common, that after you’ve had one, it happens a lot faster, because your body’s like, ‘Oh, this is what we’re doing again,’ and it just goes there,” she shares.

The New York-based parents are looking forward to witnessing the sibling dynamic between their son, Shelton, and their baby on the way. The couple says they are “excited” to see the new addition, who’s expected to arrive in December, and their toddler son interact with each other.
“I think he’s really good with kids,” says Micah. “Whenever he is around kids and spends time, he is always very gentle and just kind, and so I hope that stays true. I think that’s what I’m most excited about, just to see that.”
Echoing his sentiments, Sarah adds she’s also excited to see how they adjust to being a family of four.
“I would agree, [and also] just learning what the dynamic of two kids feels like,” she explains. “I’m excited to just see him with the baby.”
