He might be topping charts, selling out tours, and taking on bushtucker trials on I’m A Celebrity – but to Aitch, there’s one thing in life that’s far more important than fame: being a big brother. The musician’s ‘hero’ in life is his little sister Gracie, who is actually the inspiration behind his I’m A Celebrity stint.
After taking on a trial to win a prize from home, our celebrity campmates were given a photograph of their family. While some people chose their partners and pets, Aitch’s picture was of his younger sisters – twins Hattie and Gracie. Opening up about them, he shared, ‘My baby girls, my two sisters, everything I do is for them two.’
‘Bottom line, I’m on this show for them two. I make music for them two. I try to make a living for them two. Yeah, they’re my girls.’

Who are Aitch’s little sisters, Gracie and Hattie?
Aitch, 25, has two younger sisters who are 10 years younger than him. Named Gracie and Hattie, the pair are non-identical twins. The rapper has previously thanked his sisters for keeping him level-headed as he rose to fame, saying at the Pride of Britain Awards, ‘Gracie is my hero because she’s just an absolute soldier. Just what she’s been through and all that. She just lights up every room she walks in.’ Noting that his sister Hattie is ‘the superstar in my family,’ Aitch added, ‘Them two are my heroes, even though they do my head in sometimes.’
While he’s a proud big brother to both girls, it’s his close bond with Gracie – who has Down’s syndrome – that has influenced much of his work.
The musician previously released a song for his sister, titled ‘My G,’ with all funds generated from the track being donated to the Down’s Syndrome Association. Lyrics read, ‘Live your best life, you shouldn’t grow by force. All in your own time, G, the globe is yours.’
Down’s syndrome occurs when a person has three copies of chromosome 21 in some or all of their DNA as opposed to two, and is also known as Trisomy 21. According to the NHS, people with Down’s Syndrome will likely have ‘mild to moderate learning disabilities, and some may have more complex needs.’ There’s no way of knowing before birth if a person will need any additional help and support, but the NHS does note that many lead ‘active, healthy, and independent lives into their 60s, 70s, and beyond.’
What has Aitch said about his sister, Gracie?
As an Ambassador for the Down’s Syndrome Association, Aitch often speaks about how his younger sister helped shape his life. He previously admitted that he has his most ‘genuine conversations’ with the teenager.
During an appearance on Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing’s podcast, Aitch said, ‘I wouldn’t even be half the person I am if [Gracie] wasn’t here. And she actually teaches you lessons that you don’t realise till after.’
‘It’s taught me, and this sounds bad, but it taught me more to treat everyone the same. And to understand that everyone is a human.’
Since rising to fame in 2018, Aitch has become a vocal advocate when it comes to raising awareness for Down’s syndrome. Earlier this year, the musician climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and raised over £160,000 for Down’s syndrome charities. He’s also previously done a charity skydive, explaining, ‘I think it’s important because even when my sister was born, I didn’t even know what Down’s syndrome was if I’m honest with you. I feel like people are quite funny about certain things, especially when it comes to having kids and finding out they’ve got disabilities.’

Aitch explained, ‘I feel like I have got this calling to raise awareness for Down’s syndrome and I feel like [the jungle is] the perfect place. My sister Grace loves it. She will be sitting there cheering me on every time she sees me on the telly.’
Later adding he was doing it not only for those with Down’s syndrome, but for their families too, Aitch said, ‘I don’t want Down’s syndrome to be seen as a negative thing. I don’t want anyone to go, oh yeah, my kid’s got Down’s syndrome, or my sister’s got Down’s syndrome, and for anyone to have the reply of, “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” It’s definitely not the case. They’re the best people in the world.’
