Julia Roberts and her husband, Danny Moder, have made some changes to strengthen their longstanding union, according to a source.
The source tells Globe the couple has implemented “new rules” for their 23-year marriage which “include making every moment count when they are together, getting in plenty of romantic time and travel time.”
“They don’t spend longer than two weeks apart because they both agreed it would be too damaging to the relationship,” adds the source, noting they’re even “happier” than before.
Additionally, the source says the pair, whose home base has long been their Taos, New Mexico ranch, are aiming to make a move abroad. “They’ve been having a wonderful time in Europe and plan on spending more time there in the future, and are looking for property.”

Last month, the legendary actress, 57, shared a sweet snap of herself cozied up to the cinematographer, 56, on a water taxi in Italy, captioning the post, “Venice 🥰.”
In a January 2024 Vogue interview, the Pretty Woman star made a brief comment about the bond she shares with Moder.
“I believe that my husband loves me and cares for me in a way that makes me feel deeply, deeply happy,” she gushed.
The couple tied the knot in 2002 after meeting on the set of The Mexican in 2000, which Roberts starred in alongside Brad Pitt. They then welcomed twins Hazel and Phinnaeus in 2004, and son Henry in 2007.
