Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are gearing up for Thanksgiving, and they’re doing it in style.
In the latest newsletter for her lifestyle brand As Ever, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, gave fans a glimpse into her holiday preparations with her husband, 40, and their two children – six-year-old son Archie and four-year-old daughter Lilibet.
The family is getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving at their $30 million home in Montecito, California, and they’re even harvesting sage from their own garden to use in their homemade feast.
According to the newsletter (as reported by the Daily Mail), sage is one of Markle’s “favorite” flavors. Over the past year, she has been sharing photos on Instagram of “flowering sage” in her backyard.
“Those photos you’ve seen this year on our Instagram of Meghan walking through what seems like lavender, with its gorgeous purple hue, actually share the beauty of flowering sage (Fun fact: the varietal is called Santa Barbara),” the newsletter read.
The newsletter described these as “Those strolls, with Archie and Lili running in tow, her husband checking on the bees, Pula chasing the ball with Mia trying to keep up – those were the sun-drenched moments that made an everyday walk something a bit more magical,”.
It went on to describe the ever-present scent of sage in their garden, adding a touch of magic to their daily walks.
But Markle isn’t just reminiscing about cherished family times.
She’s also promoting As Ever’s latest product, Sage Honey with Honeycomb, which is available for $32.00 for a 9 oz. jar on the company’s website.
The newsletter explained that Markle was inspired to create this product after using home-grown sage in honey harvested from her own backyard beehives.

The official As Ever Instagram account also shared a video of Markle looking stunning in a burgundy dress while glazing a juicy turkey at her family’s dining table.

Last November, Markle told Marie Claire that her and Prince Harry‘s Thanksgivings are “always pretty low-key.
“I think you always make sure there’s room at the table for your friends who don’t have family, which is really key,” she revealed at the time.
However, Markle stressed that her children, Archie and Lilibet, are her main focus, and that the holiday season has become more enjoyable as they’ve grown.
“We’re always making sure we have something fun to do. At first, I think as a mom with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet,” she explained. “But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”
