Prior to his death, Osbourne had been battling declining health after receiving his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2003, along with enduring multiple serious falls and medical procedures.

Osbourne’s extramarital affairs and sexual addiction became public knowledge in 2016. A source close to Sharon told Entertainment Tonight that Osbourne had been living a “double life,” and his alleged affair with his hairstylist Michelle Pugh “wasn’t just a one-time hookup.
“Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction,” Osbourne said in a statement to ET at the time. “I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”

“He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.
“He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context,” the singer’s rep told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement. “He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy.”
Ozzy Osbourne’s more recent struggles with libido
In 2023, the metal legend discussed how antidepressants impacted his libido during an episode of The Osbourne Podcast.
“The one thing about antidepressants is it kills your sex drive instantly. If you go on an antidepressant, with most of them, your sex drive goes,” Osbourne said. His son Jack countered, stating, “It’s not guaranteed; it’s just a possible effect.”
However, Osbourne was convinced that the loss of his sex drive was “guaranteed.”
Sharon interjected to clarify, “Dad’s basically saying, ‘I took antidepressants, and it took my sex drive.'”.
Osbourne turned to antidepressants when his mental health reached a “plateau,” and they were reportedly effective except for the negative impact on his sex drive.
“Nothing really felt great. Nothing. So I went on these antidepressants, and they work OK,” he expressed.
