Ishaan Khatter is having the time of the year on one side he had his OTT show The Royals where he played the flamboyant Prince Aviraaj Singh and on other side he portrayed Shoaib in Karan Johar and Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound- India’s official entry to Oscars this year. And both performances were equally appreciated.
In tiny corners of the internet many were feeling that for his performance Ishaan had made his brother Shahid Kapoor his cornerstone, when asked if he had based his character in The Royals on Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter was candid. “As a person? Him? No. No, I think I was not,” he admitted. “So maybe that was a misfire on my part Or maybe it was just DNA doing its thing.”
For Ishaan, the role was about exploring a different kind of energy. “With Royals, I was having a lot of fun with that part,” he explained.
