Celebrity Race Across the World has confirmed its line-up for the 2025 edition, with several big names signing up for the ultimate adventure.
The BBC series sees several teams tasked with travelling between two locations across the globe, with each pair given a finite amount of money and only a map to accomplish their mission.
After seven seasons, two of which have been celebrity versions, the series will return later this year as another batch of famous faces and one relative or friend team up for a globetrotting adventure.

This year’s series will see the four teams begin on the “idyllic” Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, with the pairs having to travel 5900km to the end point of Península de La Guajira in Colombia, which is described as the “gateway to South America”.
“Our familiar faces will say goodbye to lavish transport, smartphones and bank cards and instead must rely on limited budgets, local transport and their own resourcefulness, as well as the kindness of strangers,” reads the logline.
“Relationships will be tested and transformed as they discover the world, and themselves, in ways they never expected,” continues the synopsis, which describes this year’s route as “diverse and visually stunning”.
“The series’ success is a testament to how much audiences connect with the show’s raw emotion, incredible journeys and heartfelt human stories,” said Tim Harcourt, chief creative officer at Studio Lambert.

“Celebrity Race Across the World is always a highlight of the year, and we are really looking forward to setting off with a new group of famous faces and their loved ones on an incredible journey full of twists and turns,” added Catherine Catton, head of commissioning for Factual Entertainment and Events.
Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 will air on BBC One later this year.
