Janel Parrish confirmed at the end of April that she’s dating Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber
The actress tells PEOPLE that the dancer is “the sweetest” as she raves about his cooking skills

Janel Parrish can’t help but gush over her new man.
The actress, 37, confirmed she’s dating Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber as Farber, 42, hard-launched their relationship via Instagram on April 27. Speaking with PEOPLE at the Gold Gala on Saturday, May 9 in Los Angeles, Parrish called Farber “such a light.”
“He just brings so much love and light and positivity to people in the world,” the Pretty Little Liars alum says. “He’s just the best.”
Parish also says that Farber is “the sweetest,” adding that “cooking is his love language” and something she’s certainly been benefitting from as of late.

“He’s an amazing chef. I literally was just filming a movie every day until 7:30 p.m. and I’d walk in the house and he would have a full spread for me,” she says. “I’m just very, very lucky.”
Farber “makes everything,” Parrish adds. “He introduced me to some Russian food. He does really great seafood, skewers, kebabs, just all of it. He’s so good at cooking. It’s amazing.”
Parrish’s relationship with the pro dancer comes after PEOPLE confirmed that she split from her husband of seven years, Chris Long, in early April. The actress married Long in 2018, roughly a year after they got engaged following a year of dating.
In an April 27 Instagram post, Farber confirmed his relationship with Parrish after weeks of teasing fans with dance videos. The carousel post featured snaps of the pair on dates, as well as two images of Parrish planting a kiss on his cheek.
“April has been amazing ❤️🌹,” Farber captioned the upload.

In a May 9 Instagram post, Parrish later paid tribute to Farber on his birthday, calling him “my love.”
“You bring joy and light to everyone who meets you. The world is a better place because you exist 🤍🤍🤍 Everyone go give him some birthday love because he’s the absolute best 🥹😍👑,” she wrote.
