After making a first-place debut last weekend , Doraemon: Nobita and the New Castle of the Undersea Devil maintained its hold on the top spot at the Japanese box office during the March 6-8 weekend, according to Kogyo Tsushinsha . The 45th Doraemon feature film earned 519 million yen (3.29 million Usd) on 394,600 admissions in its second weekend, down 33.5% from its opening weekend. The film’s two-week gross of 1.4 billion yen (8.87 million Usd) matched that of Doraemon: Nobita’s Art World Tales ( 1.4 billion yen ) , the previous 44th film released in 2024.
