Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce didn’t hide his delight after hearing Taylor Swift’s major announcement directly from the pop star herself.
Swift is set to appear in the upcoming episode of the “New Heights” podcast — the show that Jason Kelce co-hosts with his brother and Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
After confirming her appearance, the “New Heights” social media accounts also posted another clip from the episode where Swift can be seen revealing her upcoming album, titled “The Life of a Showgirl.”
“This is my brand new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,'” Swift said, as she opened a briefcase and took out the album, although the cover was blurred out.
Jason Kelce was hyped up and could only scream in excitement. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce — who was sitting beside Swift while she revealed the album to his brother — exclaimed, “TS 12!”

“The Life of a Showgirl” is Swift’s 12th studio album, which follows her “The Tortured Poets Department” album that was released in April 2024.
Along with the announcement, Swift’s website also officially launched the start of the “pre-order for the album. Fans can visit Store.TaylorSwift.com to place their orders.
Unfortunately, no official release date was mentioned for the album. The website listing did note that the items available will be shipped before October 13, 2025. Nonetheless, the website clarified that the aforementioned date is not the release date and that the official release will be announced at a later time.

Naturally, fans were hyped to hear the big news. There was already speculation that Swift would announce something on 12:12 a.m ET, on Tuesday (August 12) after her website dropped a countdown timer late on Monday.
Sure enough, Swift didn’t disappoint — and fans were ecstatic.
“TS12!!! TS12!!! TS12!!!” Amazon Music wrote.
A fan added, “All the Swifties just screamed all at once around the world! The Life of a Showgirl!!!”
“THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL OH MY GODDDDDDDD (IT WAS REAL HELLO???)” a hyped supporter remarked.
“Perfect timing for album 12 hype!” a follower stated.
A fifth commenter remarked, “ABSOLUTELY GAGGED.”
While fans await the official release date, they should know more details about the album once the special episode of “New Heights” drops on Wednesday.
