Universal CityWalk Hollywood is inviting moviegoers to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Jaws” with a limited-time screening at Universal Cinema, an AMC Theatre.
Fans can catch the blockbuster thriller on the big screen from Aug. 28 through Sept. 4. Guests can also enjoy a $5 movie parking with a Universal Cinema rebate.
Specific screening times and dates can be found here.
“Jaws,” based on the novel by Peter Benchley, centers on a New England seaside town, Amity Island, that is terrorized by a great white shark.
Universal Studios Hollywood celebrated “Jaws” along with other movies during its Mega Movie Summer event, which ran from June 13 through Aug. 10.
During the event, the park reinstated its iconic hanging shark photo op and introduced themed meet-and-greet characters, Capt. Quint and Chief Brody.
The Studio Tour also spotlighted the movie with a “Jaws”-themed Hollywood Sign, in addition to a section of the Studio Tour dedicated to the film.
Hollywood & Dine, located just inside the theme park’s main entry, also transformed into Amity Island Café, complete with Jaws-themed menu items.
