Jelly Roll just shared an exciting new update on his weight loss journey!
The country singer, 40, shared an Instagram Reel on Tuesday, Aug. 26 that informed followers on his progress. In the video, Jelly Roll excitedly rides an electric scooter in Berlin, Germany while explaining why this activity is such a huge milestone for him.
“This is big news in my world, I haven’t been skinny enough to ride a scooter like this in, like, eight years. No, 12 years, ten years,” Jelly Roll explained. “Anyways, first time riding a scooter, straight through the streets of Berlin, baby.”
The video continues with Jelly Roll cruising down the streets of Berlin, and at one point he begins singing “Making my way downtown,” a nod to the iconic lyrics from Vanessa Carlton‘s hit song “A Thousand Miles.”

In the comment section, fans congratulated the singer on his latest weight loss achievement.

Prior to his joyride, Jelly Roll thanked fellow hip-hop-turned-country star Post Malone for bringing him on his first ever European tour. The two are currently traveling the world for Post Malone’s Big A** Stadium Tour and have been performing together since April.
