Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans doesn’t appear to be closing the door on a possible reconciliation with ex-husband David Eason.
During an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, June 17, Evans — who shares daughter Ensley, 9, with Eason — was asked by a follower, “Would u give David one more chance?? I think he’s changed :).”
In her answer, the former MTV reality star didn’t exactly give a flat-out “no.”
“Not gonna lie, he has been helping me out a lot lately because of my leg — I have to get surgery next week on my knee,” Evans, 34, replied. “So yah, I’m going to be using him for a lot more help while I have my surgery.”
Evans — who also shares Jace, 16, with Andrew Lewis and Kaiser, 11, with Nathan Griffin — filed for separation from Eason in March 2024 after six years of marriage. In July 2025, a judge agreed to grant Evans’ motion for an “absolute divorce.”
In recent months, however, the pair have raised eyebrows after they were caught spending time together on multiple occasions.
Back in March, Evans explained why Eason, 37, was spending time with her in Las Vegas.
“David has been back recently to visit Ensley in Vegas, but now he’s back in North Carolina,” she shared on March 7. “I’m in a happy place in life and so are my kids. I’m glad to show a healthy coparenting relationship to them.”
The friendly reunions, however, continued with Evans and Eason traveling to The Sphere in Las Vegas to see a showing of The Wizard of Oz with their daughter during Easter weekend.
“Just because I am coparenting, doesn’t mean I’m in trouble in any way,” Evans wrote via X on April 6. “Sorry to burst your bubble everyone.”
When one user criticized the former 16 and Pregnant star for reuniting with Eason, Evans replied, “I’m sorry my daughter is allowed to see her father. Everyone knows this but you apparently.”
More recently, Evans made headlines at the end of May when she was photographed packing up a U-Haul with Eason before her move from Las Vegas to Florida.
“It’s crazy how much I’m stalked when I’m not even a celebrity and not on TV anymore,” she wrote via X on May 27 in response to the report. “Why do any of you care?”
Ultimately, the former reality star maintains that things are platonic with Eason as she continues to focus on building healthy coparenting relationships.
As she previously told Us, “I always strive to have a good relationship with my exes for my children’s sake.”
