Jennifer Aniston is ready to hit the Broadway stage!
“I haven’t done theatre yet because it terrifies me, but it’s the one thing I haven’t tried besides make an album, which I doubt I’ll do!” the A-lister, 56, confessed to Harper’s Bazaar for their November issue, in an article published on Wednesday, October 8.
“But I grew up in New York and loved going to the theatre, so I think it’d be fun,” added the Morning Show actress, who attended Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, which inspired Fame, and starred in few off-Broadway productions in the late 1980s before moving to Hollywood.
As Globe previously reported, Aniston was recently inspired to explore the idea of hitting the stage by her old pal George Clooney’s Broadway run, according to an insider.

While spending time in New York City with her new beau, Jim Curtis, in early August, the Friends alum “met with producers of already in-the-works shows to see if she can fit something in, even if it’s just a six- or eight-week production next spring,” the insider told Globe.
“What’s cool is that Jen is open to doing a play or a musical,” added the insider, who cautioned, “she’s only going to say yes if she can find a production that’s the perfect fit.”
