Jennifer Lawrence, this beautiful blonde from Hollywood who always manages to crack everyone up with her natural, down-to-earth character, actually has a secret life on this platform called TikTok. And this secret life, for your information, includes her being involved in some pretty dirty fights with her critics and haters.
In a promotional interview conducted by Fandango before the worldwide premiere of her thriller-comedy alongside Robert Pattinson, Die My Love, she admitted that she has a secret fan obsession that most people don’t know about, when asked if she has a secret fandom that most people don’t know about, she said.
“I have a secret. I have, like, a secret life on TikTok. [Laughs] I do. [With] well, I wouldn’t say ‘fans.’ I get in fights on TikTok. I get in fights in the comment section.”
Continuing, Lawrence then went on to give an example of this “secret life” of hers on TikTok, sharing, “And one girl was like, ‘How old are you? Get a life.’ [Laughs]”
But as funny as that is, guess even celebrities can’t resist getting into online fights with their fans over some of the things they just don’t agree about!
In this same interview, Jennifer Lawrence says that this affair of having her own secret life on TikTok actually began because it was kind of ‘back and forth, bickering, like the Kardashians.’ But she says that she really went into heated arguments when she ‘began spouting facts about the British Royal Family that some people just couldn’t agree with.’
Thus, as Lawrence openly explained, “It started off with real housewives kind of, like, fights, back and forth, Kardashians, that kind of thing. And then it got really intense when I started commenting on the Royal Family.”
She then explained exactly what she had said that had people thinking she was ‘trashing’ the royal family, and she said:
“But a lot of people just did not know that the Mountbattens, Queen Elizabeth II, is married to her first cousin. It just is. That’s just a fact. They are cousins. And people were thinking that I was, like, trashing them, and I’m like, ‘I’m not! This is just a fact.’ And it was also that in the 40s, it would have been normal.”
However, that was actually the catalyst that launched this entire thing for her. If anything, Lawrence actually believes that she ‘rage baits’ on TikTok!
“Anyway, that kind of started this whole [thing]. I guess I kind of rage-bait on TikTok. [Laughs] I’m like Kendra from The Catfish Mom”
