Layering season is finally upon us, and Jennifer Lawrence has taken the leap, leaning on a few tried-and-true staples for her latest fall fits.
Earlier this week, the Die, My Love star was spotted braving the rain in New York City, where she repeated a styling formula that she had executed only days prior.
For the outing, Lawrence bundled up in a brown leather bomber jacket from Le Labo, which she paired with light-wash, straight-leg jeans.
While many stars have been embracing the trend of concealing their faces with hats, Lawrence tried the opposite, cloaking the bottom half of her face with a wide, taupe blanket scarf with baby blue embroidery and a thin layer of fringe along the hems.
To complete her cool street-style look, the Oscar winner added a few jet-black accessories, including a pair of leather ankle boots from the Row, rectangular sunglasses from Heaven Mayhem, and a Kelly Monaco bag from Hermès.
When Lawrence emerged in NYC this past weekend, she followed a similar styling method, wearing a large red scarf paired with a cream trench, in a look that paid homage to fashion legend Jane Birkin.
With that look, the Hunger Games alum even carried the same Hermès bag, indicating that the luxury tote is a current favorite.
From the looks of it, many of the stars are embracing an effortless, minimalist aesthetic this season, whether it’s Julia Roberts with her button-ups and denim or Duchess Meghan with her pearly cardigans and pencil skirts. All hail the cozy renaissance.
