Lopez’s post-divorce life has been a blast, according to sources, who recently claimed she isn’t dwelling on the past but is focused on the future. A year after her romantic ties to Affleck ended, the entertainer has filled her days with work and couldn’t be happier.
“She’s been having the time of her life this summer. She loved connecting with fans all over the world. The tour was amazing,” a source said about her “Up All Night” gig. They added that the shows have been “a great focus for her” as she loved doing what she enjoys.
Besides touring, the source told PEOPLE that Lopez is thriving in her acting career. She would reportedly start promoting her upcoming movie musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” which she filmed last year in New York amid the end of her marriage to Affleck.
How The Multi-Hyphenate Star Stayed Busy
The source noted the upcoming musical meant a lot to Lopez as she had come a long way since filming the movie. “She’s very happy and just grateful for her life,” they added. The multi-hyphenate star stayed busy throughout her divorce from Affleck, sparing no time for drama.
Weeks after she filed for divorce in August 2024, Lopez attended the Toronto International Film Festival to promote the wrestling biopic “Unstoppable.” She starred in the movie, which was produced by Affleck and his longtime pal Matt Damon.
She marked the new year by attending Variety’s Creative Impact Awards event in January, where she was honored with the Legend and Groundbreakers award. That same month, Lopez attended the world premiere of “Kiss of the Spider Woman” at the Sundance Film Festival.

Lopez’s tour started in July, taking her through Spain and other European countries before ending in Sardinia on August 12. She would reportedly bring her “Up All Night” gig to Las Vegas to round up 2025 and welcome 2026 from December 30 to January 3.
The entertainer’s Las Vegas gig followed sources’ claims that she was addressing her feelings through music. The Blast shared that Lopez blessed 30 lucky fans with six new songs at an exclusive listening party in Los Angeles.
One of the tracks featured the lyrics “I’m stronger after the wreckage of you,” which a source claimed was Lopez insinuating that “Ben’s the one that fell apart, not her.” They noted she was unapologetically singing her truth and did not care if Affleck was upset.

The “Batman” actor donned matching khaki trousers with his son, Samuel, while his white button-up shirt matched his daughter, Seraphina’s white top. The family was photographed leaving the eatery, with the patriarch holding a to-go bag.
Affleck welcomed three children during his first marriage to actress Jennifer Garner. His eldest, Violet, appeared absent from the lunch date as she was not photographed. The former couple were married from 2005 to their 2015 separation. They jointly filed for divorce in 2017 and finalized their separation a year later.
