Whether you’re a celebrity or not, everyone needs a good breakup song. For Jennifer Lopez, who divorced Ben Affleck almost two years ago now in 2024, one song that’s speaking to her lately is Ariana Grande’s iconic 2019 anthem, “Thank U Next.”
In a clip obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the “On The Floor” singer attended Grande’s show on Saturday, January 20, in Los Angeles, and sang along to the breakup anthem. In the video, she’s waving her hands in a goodbye gesture while dancing and lip-singing to the lyrics.

Behind her are her child Emme, 18, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s 17-year-old child he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Seraphina, who also goes by Fin.
For the occasion, while Emme and Fin wore casual T-shirts and jeans, Lopez looked as sophisticated as ever in cream wide-legged pants, a white voluminous cropped top, and a Hermès bag, per Page Six.

Prior to the sweet family outing, Lopez, who’s starring in Netflix’s new rom-com Office Romance, got candid about her healing journey following her two-year marriage with Affleck. As a reminder, the two tied the knot in 2022 and got divorced two years later.
In a June 15 appearance on the Smartless podcast, Lopez said that their split forced her to look at her life choices in a whole new way.
“After my last divorce, I canceled my tour and I sat there and I was just like, ‘You need to f— figure yourself out,’” she said. “‘What is going on with you? Forget about everybody else. There’s nobody to blame here except yourself, in a certain way.’”
“I was able to go back to that little girl [I once was] and really look at her,” she said. “And just kind of going like, ‘You did this. You did all of this. Give yourself a little f— something. A little love! Stop looking for love in other things and give it to yourself.’”
Now, it seems that Lopez is not only healed from her divorce, but is working on being happy and fulfilled even in her single life. So much so that bringing your ex’s child to a show is not only not weird, but seemingly a ton of fun too.
In addition to Emme, Lopez is also a proud mom to Max Muñiz, 18, while Affleck and Garner are parents to Violet, 20, and Samuel, 14.
