The boho renaissance isn’t over until Jennifer Lopez says it is.
Over the weekend, the Kiss of the Spider Woman star was spotted out in Beverly Hills with one of her twins, Emme, as the two enjoyed a lunch date at the Peninsula Hotel.
For the outing, J.Lo played with a variety of codes, constructing a look that was part boho, part business, part western—but all Lopez. It certainly wasn’t your average mom look.
The most attention-grabbing detail was Lopez’s romantic white blouse, which featured ruffles decorating the plunging neckline and cuffs, both of which peeked out from beneath her long, sandy-hued blazer. (She recently used this same styling trick in Los Angeles, when she layered a frilly, polka-dot blouse underneath a walnut-colored suit from Harithand.)
This time, J.Lo gave her boho-business look more of a Western edge, as she tucked her Victorian-style top into a set of high-waisted, flare jeans, which were cinched with a brown leather belt adorned with silver buckles.
As a wink to the hue of her belt, Lopez carried a brown leather handbag, but it wasn’t one of her go-to Birkins. Instead, she traded the Hermès staple for another luxury bag, opting for a foldover Blondie from Gucci. Finally, she selected a set of suede platform heels in brown, while accessorizing with large aviator sunglasses and diamond climber earrings.
As Lopez continues promoting her new musical drama, she’s been pulling out winning looks at every turn. Clearly, that fashion streak doesn’t even take a break for lunch.
