She’s been receiving treatment for cancer
Jessie J returned to music earlier this year with her songs ‘No Secrets’ and ‘Living My Best Life‘, however it was shortly after that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, going on to reveal she was undergoing treatment.
Now the singer has shared a defiant message to fans as she begins to tease more new music. Jessie took to a Facebook Reel to share a side profile video of herself, with the long caption: ‘I can rest, parent AND release new music.
‘I didn’t leave a major label after 18 years to be scared to re write the rules to fit around my life / health. I just have to make it realistic on what I can deliver in all roles in my life. ⚖️
‘Another surgery needed this year. I can do it. ✔️
‘Raising a toddler. I can do it. ✔️
‘Releasing new music. I can do it. ✔️
She went on to say: ‘It will look different to what I had planned but that’s life, things change and either we panic and get mad that it isn’t what is was going to be, or we ADAPT. 🌱
‘I’m just flowing with life. Learning about who I am in motherhood and when my health goes left unexpectedly.
‘I am 7 weeks post breast cancer surgery. I’m still in the thick of recovery and my body is still finding its way. But I LOVE music and I LOVE my life and I want to LIVE in the moment.
‘Instead of stopping and disappearing and waiting for the timing to be perfect to release music again.
‘I am choosing to carry on. Life is layered and has highs and lows and we just have to keep living through all of it, the best we can.
‘So here I am. LIVING. 🥹🌅 And I just want you to have the music…. Deal?🔋🪄 See less’.
What is the new music called?
It is called ‘Believe In Magic’, the name was revealed on Instagram, where Jessie wrote: ‘I wrote this in 2022 with @jesseboykins3rd and it could have been written last week. I feel like this album was delayed to support me through this time of my life. The lyrics of every song hit harder now than they did back then. Mad.

As Jessie told her fans in a social post, ‘Believe In Magic’ will be out on 29th August.
Who was the song written with?
The song was written with American singer-songwriter and record producer Jesse Boykins III. In a comment, Jesse wrote: ‘I remember when we wrote this one and how it just flowed out. You should tell them how your best songs are written with you sitting on the floor haha. I’m so grateful for you and this song!!! The World Needs It!! 🌱🫂🌱’.

American singer Benson Boone dropped his second album ‘American Heart’ on 26th June. The 10-track album, which was written in just two weeks, features singles ‘Mystical Magical’, ‘Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else’, and the heartfelt ‘Mr. Electric Blue.

This new album features a massive 15 songs, including his upbeat hit ‘Higher’ which he released last year, along with ‘Shadowboxing’, ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ and ‘Full Attention’.
Speaking to Hits Radio, Tom explained the significance behind the album name, saying: “It is me kind of saying, ‘no matter what happens, I’ll look back at the title and go, you know what actually, now I’ve championed myself and I’ve got better and I’m proud of myself’.”
Niall Horan – ‘Heartbreak Weather’ fifth anniversary edition

Niall Horan celebrated the fifth anniversary of his album ‘Heartbreak Weather’ with a special edition, featuring some new songs, and live versions. ‘Heartbreak Weather’ was originally released on 13th March 2020, just before the UK went into its first national lockdown, and the singer told us at the time: “The timing of the release of an album I’ve spent a year and a half working on, is probably the worst ever. In terms of releases and timings, it’s been very frustrating with everything being cancelled.”
He released a digital copy of the anniversary back in March, with physical versions arriving in August.
Sabrina Carpenter – ‘Man’s Best Friend’

Sabrina has now confirmed she will be releasing her album ‘Man’s Best Friend‘ in August. She has already released the first song from her album called ‘Manchild’.
Ed Sheeran
Release date: 12th September 2025
In March 2025, Ed Sheeran confirmed he has now finished his eighth album and the first song from the album is called ‘Azizam‘. He has not yet revealed when the album will be released, however he told us in an interview: “The album will come after summer and I know it’s like a long wait, but I’m doing a lot of music drops beforehand, and I’m also on the ‘Mathematics Tour’ until the first week of September and I didn’t wanna drop the next album whilst on the last tour.”
He went on to say: “So I’m gonna wait until the tour’s done and it will be finished for about three days, and then the record comes out.”
JADE
Release date: 12th September 2025
In May 2025, JADE confirmed the name and release date for her debut solo album. The album is called ‘That’s Showbiz Baby’ and will be released on 12th September, supported by a tour starting a month later on 8th October.
Zara Larsson – ‘Midnight Sun’
Release date: 26th September
‘Lush Life’ singer Zara Larsson has announced she will be releasing her fifth album ‘Midnight Sun‘ in September. The album will feature the title track released in June, and the lead song from her album ‘Pretty Ugly’.
Taylor Swift

In August, Taylor Swift announced she would be releasing her 12th album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ in October 2025. The album will feature 12 songs, including the title track with Sabrina Carpenter. The singer also revealed three alternative covers.
Perrie

Perrie has announced her album has been finished and will be out this year, however she hasn’t revealed what it will be called, or the exact release date. This album will be her first solo album since Little Mix started their hiatus in 2022.
