Joe Jonas, one-third of the pop-rock group Jonas Brothers, dined in Minneapolis on Thursday ahead of a Friday show in St. Paul.
The Jonas Brothers singer and a small entourage visited Diane’s Place in the afternoon, followed by St. Pierre Steak & Seafood in the evening.
A manger for Diane’s Place told the Minnesota Star Tribune that Jonas spent about three hours on the Northeast Minneapolis restaurant’s patio with a handful of friends. She said the fiery papaya salad was among the dishes ordered by his crew.
St. Pierre in the North Loop also welcomed Jonas and his friends, as well as members of The All-American Rejects – who are opening for Jonas on Friday, co-owner Nancy St. Pierre confirmed to Bring Me The News.

Neither restaurant has posted about their recent brush with fame on social media, though both are no stranger to the spotlight themselves.
Diane’s Place has been racking up nods from local and national publications, including The New York Times and Food & Wine, since it opened in April 2024.
St. Pierre didn’t make quite as much of splash when it replaced Snack Bar earlier this year. But it’s a quasi-revival of Burch Steak, the sorely missed four-star restaurant from award-winning chef Isaac Becker and his wife, St. Pierre, the duo behind Bar La Grassa and 112 Eatery.
The Jonas Brothers are performing Friday night at Grand Casino Arena in downtown St. Paul. It’s one stop of many on their 20th anniversary “Living The Dream Tour” with openers The All-American Rejects.
When the brothers were last in town two years ago, all three were spotted at The Freehouse and Meteor, both in Minneapolis.
It’s possible that the Jo Bros will hit the town again after their latest St. Paul show, since their next scheduled performance is Sunday in Milwaukee.
Maybe they’ll be in the mood for a Parlour burger?
