John Stamos says he got a nose job while starring on General Hospital as a young adult.
However, it “didn’t look great,” so he got it retouched by the same plastic surgeon that did Michael Jackson’s nose.
“But he didn’t make me look like Michael Jackson, thank God,” the actor said.
John Stamos is speaking candidly about his experience with plastic surgery.
The Full House alum opened up about getting a nose job as a young adult and later getting it fixed by the same plastic surgeon who did Michael Jackson‘s nose.
“When I was a kid, I had a nose job,” Stamos said last week on The Really Good podcast, noting that he got the procedure done during his two-year stint on General Hospital from 1982 until 1984.

He also explained why he felt the need to go under the knife.
“I broke it when I was a kid. I got hit with a golf club. There’s a little scar here,” Stamos said, pointing to his nose. “And I was on General Hospital, which is a soap opera. And I just didn’t like the way it looked.”
However, it didn’t go as planned. “I got it done and it didn’t look great,” he said. “And then I actually had it fixed by Michael Jackson’s guy.”
When asked if it really was Jackson’s plastic surgeon, Stamos replied, “Yeah, but he didn’t make me look like Michael Jackson, thank God.”
Jackson, who died in 2009, underwent several cosmetic procedures throughout his life. He admitted to three surgeries in his 1988 autobiography, Moonwalk, writing, “I’ve had my nose altered twice, and I recently added a cleft to my chin, but that is it. Period.”

Later in the podcast, Stamos also spoke about his experience buying an old Disneyland sign at auction that Jackson had also wanted.
“It was right when eBay started and they were auctioning off Disney stuff… I should have bought all of it because nowadays everything is, but the opening bid was, like, $33,000 or something,” he recalled. “I said, ‘Oh, I’ll do that.’ Michael Jackson wanted it.”
In fact, he ended up calling Stamos following the sale. “He called me after, and he really wasn’t about the sign,” the actor said. “It was a weird message. I was on ER at the time and I remember playing it for the cast.”
He continued, “He was like, ‘Hi John, this is Michael. I really dig your stuff. Let’s go to Disneyland sometime.'”
