However, one of his duets took place in a very unusual location, he admitted to Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night.
“A Beatle and John Travolta. Legends. Icons,” he said.
But it wasn’t Travolta’s first time singing with a Beatle, he admitted. However, that previous performance was in a much more humble setting than a concert stage.
“I’ve also sung with Paul McCartney in the parking lot of a Tom Ford party years ago,” Travolta said, and Fallon understandably had questions.
“How’s that work?” Fallon asked. “You get him in the parking lot, and you just go, ‘Hey, Paul! Let’s go’?”
Turns out, McCartney was the one who proposed the duet, telling Travolta, “I represented the ’60s, you represented the ’70s, we should sing.”
Fallon then said Travolta also represented the ’80s and ’90s, before rhetorically asking, “What decade did you not represent? You can’t miss!”
