Glazer Hall, which is under construction at the landmarked Royal Poinciana Playhouse site at 70 Royal Poinciana Plaza, is Palm Beach’s first new nonprofit arts organization in more than 60 years.
When complete, the 24,000-square-foot waterfront space will host year-round performing arts events, educational outreach, and community and social programming. It will include a fully configurable, 400-seat theater, state-of-the-art audiovisual system, a wall of windows overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and exclusive private spaces.
Longtime town resident Jill Glazer, who along with her husband, Avie, will operate the nonprofit venue and have poured millions into developing it, said she was excited to see the center finally open.
Construction began in 2023.
“We are overjoyed to finally open our doors,” Glazer said. “From music and comedy to dance and film, there will be something to inspire everyone.”
