Julia Roberts recently appeared at the LA premiere of her latest film, “After the Hunt.” The Oscar-winning actor completed her look with dangling emerald green earrings, black pointed-toe pumps, and a magenta clutch. Her auburn hair was styled in a sleek, middle-parted blowout, perfectly complementing her ensemble.
Roberts revealed to reporters on the red carpet that the gown was not entirely new. “This is the same dress I wore to the “Ticket to Paradise” premiere in L.A. three years ago,” she shared with Variety.
She explained that she chose the outfit this weekend in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The actor also paid tribute to her best friend, who is a breast cancer survivor.
During her first appearance in the outfit, Roberts paired the pink dress with sparkling pink earrings. She later seemed to have modified the gown from its original floor-length design for her latest rewear.
Since the debut of “After the Hunt” at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in August, Roberts has been busy with an ongoing press and premiere tour. “After the Hunt” is directed by Luca Guadagnino and penned by Nora Garrett. It follows Roberts as a college professor whose student, played by Ayo Edebiri, accuses a fellow faculty member, portrayed by Andrew Garfield, of sexual misconduct.
The ensemble cast also includes Chloe Sevigny, Thaddea Graham, Will Price, Lio Mehiel, and Ariyan Kassam. Roberts hit the carpet alongside Michael Stuhlbarg, who portrays her husband in the film.
Amazon MGM Studios plans to release “After the Hunt” on October 10.
