It’s been quite the family-centric month for Julia Roberts. Just days after she traveled to Idaho to witness her niece Emma Roberts get married to fellow actor Cody John, the Pretty Woman star was seen out and about again, this time with her daughter Hazel.
Julia rarely makes public outings with her kids, which made this moment feel particularly noteworthy. Not to mention, her only daughter looked like the spitting image of her as they brought a gloomy-chic sensibility to the season.
The duo were seen twinning as they took a walk in Sun Valley, Idaho on Monday, both opting for understated neutrals.
Julia kept things business casual in a black button-up shirtdress, which she paired with matching flip-flops. Up top, she wore a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses from Ahlem, while tucking a patterned clutch under her arm.
As for Hazel, she matched her mom’s tone by layering an inky cardigan over a matching blouse, while sporting her own oversize sunglasses. For a few small pops of color, she added blue-and-white checkered capris, brown leather flats, and her cardigan was embroidered with a large image of a rose along the chest. Even her long wavy hair was blowing in the wind like her mother’s.
Julia shares 21-year-old daughter Hazel, her twin brother Phinnaeus, and their younger brother Henry, 19, with her husband, Daniel Moder. The two have known each other since they met on the set of The Mexican in 2000, and they tied the knot two years later.
The Oscar winner has previously spoken up about the support she gets from her husband and kids, saying: “I have incredible reinforcement from my family. My kids are very loving. I think they get that from their dad ― to speak their love out loud.”
