
‘Jumanji 4’ cast update reveals returning favourites and exciting new stars
The Jumanji universe is expanding once again, as the latest installment has been in production for months and it appears to have an impressive line up of familiar favourites and fresh additions attached to the upcoming film.
While the highly anticipated movie counts as the franchise’s fourth release, it is the third chapter starring the reboot cast.
Released in 2017, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle became a global hit, earning $962 million worldwide, while its sequel pulled in $801 million.
Now the next film is set to hit the big screens on December 11, 2026.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, nine familiar faces were confirmed to return with two new actors joining the star-studded cast.
Recently a report has revealed that there will be six additional returning actors alongside two new stars.
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will be returning to the big screen in the upcoming adventure movie. But it is not known whether the duo will be reprising their roles as Dr. Xander “Smolder” Bravestone and Franklin “Mouse” Finbar again or new avatars.
Joining them as returning cast members will be Karen Gillan, Jack Black but it is also unclear whether they will be taking on their previous roles; Ruby Roundhouse and Professor Sheldon “Shelly” Oberon or completely new roles.
However, the actors that will reprising their roles are Alex Wolff as Spencer Gilpin, Madison Iseman as Bethany Walker, Ser’Darius Blain as Anthony “Fridge” Johnson, Morgan Turner as Martha Kaply, Awkwafina as Ming Fleetfoot, Nick Jonas as Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough, Danny DeVito as Edward “Eddie” Gilpin, Lamorne Morris as Heater Repairman, Marin Hinkle as Janice Gilpin, and Rhys Darby as Nigel Billingsley.
The two new actors who will be joining are The White Lotus star Brittany O’Grady and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor Burn Gorman. But as of right now, their roles haven’t been revealed yet.
