Justin Baldoni and his legal team is thrilled after a judge threw out most of Blake Lively’s allegations against him.

“We’re very pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants: Justin Baldoni, Jamey Heath, Steve Sarowitz, Melissa Nathan, and Jennifer Abel,” his attorneys told Page Six in a statement Thursday.

“These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided.”

After Judge Lewis Liman ruled to dismiss 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni on Thursday, “what’s left is a significantly narrowed case,” the statement continued.

“We look forward to presenting our defense to the remaining claims in court,” the lawyers concluded.

The “Gossip Girl” alums claims regarding defamation and conspiracy were also tossed out, according to documents obtained by Page Six.

The allegations that remain as Lively and Baldoni prepare to face off in court on May 18 are for breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation.

Lively’s attorney addressed the latest update, telling Page Six in a statement that the sexual harassment allegation was dismissed “not because the defendants did nothing wrong but because the court determined Blake Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee.”

“This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation because she stood up for safety on the set and that is the case that is going to trial,” the statement read.

“For Blake Lively, the greatest measure of justice is that the people and the playbook behind these coordinated digital attacks have been exposed and are already being held accountable by other women they’ve targeted,” the attorney continued.

The actress’s lawyer stated that she “looks forward to testifying at trial and continuing to shine a light on this vicious form of online retaliation so that it becomes easier to detect and fight.”

Lively and Baldoni’s legal battle began in December 2025, when the “Shallows” star accused the latter of sexual harassment during their time on the “It Ends With Us” set.

She officially sued Baldoni in December 2024, claiming she lost around $161 million in earnings and damages because of the alleged smear campaign against her at the time of the film’s release that August.

Baldoni denied the allegations against him and counter-sued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynold, in a bombshell $400 million lawsuit in January 2025. However, it was ultimately dismissed months later.

The ongoing saga has since dragged several A-listers, including Taylor Swift, into the mix through unsealed documents.

The co-stars, meanwhile, last came face-to-face with each other during a settlement conference in New York City on February 11, though it was “unsuccessful.”
