Justin Bieber’s mother Pattie Mallette is offering prayers for the pop star following news he will be headlining Coachella.
Last week, it was revealed that Bieber would be one of the featured artists at Coachella 2026, alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G. The announcement was met with plenty of enthusiasm; it took less than a week for the iconic festival to sell out.
On Monday, Mallette, 50, shared a carousel of photos of Bieber on the Coachella grounds in Indio, California, adding a long and spiritual prayer for his well-being in the caption of the post.
“We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin. 🙏,” Mallette wrote.
“I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS. Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT.”
On Monday, Bieber himself teased his upcoming Coachella appearance with a new video, “Speed Demon,” filmed in black-and-white at the festival’s location.
The photos in Mallette’s IG post are screenshots of “Speed Demon” footage.
“Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord,” the 50-year-old mom continued. “Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace. Say amen if you agree. 🙏🔥”
Mallette’s cryptic post had some people worried
Given Bieber’s recent history of concerning behavior, some folks in the comments thought Mallette was signaling her son was dealing with a major problem.
However, a majority of them simply joined in in praying for the “Daisies” singer, with a few even mentioning the impact Bieber has had on their lives as fans.
Coachella 2026 is set for April 10-19, 2026 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
