According to a source close to Katy Perry, who spoke to PEOPLE about their relationship, she and Justin Trudeau share an “easy connection.” Moreover, the rumored couple has reportedly maintained close contact since their meeting in Montreal earlier this year.
The insider revealed that Perry wasn’t looking to date when she first spent time with Trudeau. “When she first hung out with Justin, she wasn’t looking to date, but they stayed in touch,” the source explained. “They have many shared interests and a lot to talk about, but Katy was navigating too many things to even think about dating then.”
Trudeau, however, continued “pursuing her since” their meeting in Montreal, the source added. “He even flew to California to see her during a tour break. She finds him attractive. He’s been very respectful.”
