Kaley Cuoco has been dating her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, since 2022.
The Big Bang Theory alum reacted to Tom’s 2026 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the HBO drama Task.
Tom was previously nominated for an Emmy Award in 2022 for guest-starring on the Netflix series Ozark.
Kaley Cuoco isn’t the only one in her family with a lot to celebrate lately.
The Big Bang Theory alum has been in the public eye recently, after announcing her second pregnancy with her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, and appearing on the new series Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. But Tom has also found success in his role as Robbie Prendergrast in the hit drama Task, which premiered on HBO in September 2025. When the 2026 Emmy Awards nominations went live on July 8, Tom received a nod for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
It came as no surprise that Kaley would have something to say about Tom’s achievement.
“Proud is an understatement!” she wrote on her Instagram story on July 8. “The laugh that stole everyone’s hearts 😭😭😭.”
Tom took to Instagram to reflect on his Emmy nomination, including how he learned the news.
“Got the news at the top of my hike with one bar of service. So excited and grateful- what a way to cap off a journey that has been gratifying and beautiful every step of the way. 🙏. As soon as fans saw Tom’s post and Kaley’s reaction, they sent words of excitement.
“You were absolutely breathtaking. Congrats on this much deserved win. You brought so much heart and pain to that role. ✨✨✨✨✨✨,” one person wrote in the comments. “YESSSSSS you are AMAZING in EVERYTHING you do but your performance in Task… WOW. So well deserved 👏👏👏👏👏,” another agreed. “Congratulations, Tom. Task was fantastic 👏👏👏,” a different follower added.
This isn’t the first time Tom has been nominated for an Emmy Award. He was previously nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2022 for his portrayal of Ben Davis in the Netflix drama Ozark.
