After three years of putt-putt and pints, a Kansas City entertainment bar and restaurant has closed its two locations.

Craft Putt — which has spots in Overland Park and Lee’s Summit — has permanently shut down, according to the concept’s website and social media pages.

A Sunday Facebook post announced the closure to customers.

“This was an incredibly difficult decision, but one that I ultimately felt was necessary for myself and my family,” the owner, AJ Chinn, wrote in his post.

“I want to sincerely thank every guest, employee, trivia host, company happy hour, birthday party, fundraiser, and regular who supported Craft Putt along the way. What started as a crazy idea turned into something that created a lot of memories and brought a lot of people together, and I will always be proud of that.”

Ownership could not be immediately reached Monday morning for comment.

The spot provided an indoor putting experience with food and alcohol. It opened at 11440 W. 135th St. in Overland in 2023, followed by its 840 NW Blue Parkway in Lee’s Summit location last year.

It offered entrées like grilled chicken tacos, a mushroom Swiss burger and a Cuban sandwich.

Last month, Sinkers Lounge also closed. The similar concept downtown was in a lengthy dispute with its landlord, Kansas City’s Power & Light District, that resulted in sister concept Blade & Timber shutting down as well.

Meanwhile, a massive indoor-outdoor mini golf course and restaurant opened at the former Metcalf South Mall site at 95th and Metcalf last year. Tap-Ins sells wraps, sandwiches, pizza and ice cream.
