Karlie Kloss has finally opened up about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding.
Kloss, 33, made an appearance on the Tuesday, July 28, episode of Today, where she was asked whether it was “a special night.”
“Listen, I try to protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,” she replied. “But what I will say is that they’re an amazing couple and I’m so happy for them.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, tied the knot on July 3 after three years of dating.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” read a July statement from Swift’s rep about the nuptials. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”
The statement continued: “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
This marks the first time Kloss has addressed her attendance at the star-studded event after she was spotted on her way to Madison Square Garden in New York City, where the wedding took place. Kloss’ husband, Joshua Kushner, accompanied her as she wore a gold strapless dress for the occasion.
TMZ reported ahead of Swift and Kelce’s nuptials that the singer had reconciled with her once-close friend. This led to Swift extending a wedding invite to Kloss after years of speculation about their friendship status.
The rumors initially started when Swift missed Kloss and Kushner’s 2018 and 2019 wedding ceremonies. Kloss and Swift were publicly close from 2012 and 2015 after they shared a Vogue cover shoot together.
Kloss previously gushed about her bond with Swift, writing via Instagram in 2016, “Happiest of Birthdays to my ride or die @taylorswift ❤️🎂👯❤️.”
She continued: “I feel blessed to count you as my friend, sister and partner in crime. Can’t wait to celebrate together very soon ❤️🍪🍾.”
More recently, Kloss was spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour in August 2023. She also “liked” Swift’s Instagram post about her engagement to Kelce in August 2025.
