Kate Gosselin will apparently not be having Thanksgiving dinner with any of her eight children.
The former TLC star, 50, posted a TikTok video on Wednesday, October 22, explaining why her kids — whom she shares with ex-husband Jon Gosselin — wouldn’t be coming home to celebrate the holiday.
“Some of the kids have plans, we’re far away from home, don’t forget,” the reality TV personality quipped in her video. “So we invited some of the kids, and they don’t have enough time off for Thanksgiving to come here and then get back to college.”
“It’s just gonna be me and him, I guess,” Kate added, seemingly referring to her boyfriend, Steve Neild.
Kate said she asked her beau what he wanted to do for the day, thinking he would like to get “takeout from a restaurant” or “get an already-made meal” — but that was not the case.

“Instead, he said, ‘Oh, I don’t know, I was thinking we could go dancing,’” Kate, who is recovering from leg surgery, recounted. “So rude, he’s over there smiling, he’s proud of himself. That’s the sense of humor he has, and I don’t appreciate it.”
As Star previously reported, Kate was hospitalized last month and explained why in a TikTok live from the hospital.
“Meika, my puppy, ran into me full-speed ahead,” she shared, “and I ended up with a tibial plateau fracture and surgery with plates and pins in my leg.”
Kate is a mom to twins Madelyn and Cara, both 25, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis, and Leah, all now 21. However, she is estranged from Collin, who has claimed she abused him. Kate has denied Collin’s allegations.
