Keke Palmer reflects on how she balances motherhood and acting career
Keke Palmer has recently opened up about balancing motherhood and acting career.
The American actress, who shares two-year-old son Leodis Andrellton with ex Darius Jackson, shared her honest experience while speaking to PEOPLE at the LA premiere of her new Peacock series, The Burbs.
“I feel like after [having] my son, I’ve become even more intentional with what I choose to do, how I choose to spare my time, you know? I” said the Nope actress.
Keke told the outlet, “I love everything that I do, but I think [I’m] always conscious to have a good team, to make sure that I can handle it all, and be able to organise it, because it is a lot, but I do love it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Alice star revealed her son’s milestone, saying, that the most recent one would be his son “talking”.
“The process of seeing him grow from being a little baby that didn’t speak to having words, opinions and a personality is incredible,” she noted.
Meanwhile, Keke explained what she learned from her toddler at the premiere.
“He’s teaching me — most importantly, I think — just how to relax and how to live… Like when you see your kid, it really is a mirror to you with your own life, but you’re able to give them … what you need to give to yourself,” stated the actress.
Keke added, “So, it’s been a real blessing.”
