Kendall Jenner admits to feeling “frustrated” with her father, Caitlyn Jenner.
The 29-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur opened up about her relationship with her 76-year-old father during an episode of The Kardashians, revealing that she often has to “compartmentalize” their bond due to their age difference.
The episode, which aired on Thursday (30.10 25), showed the duo seated together at a family gathering where the topic shifted to the recent California wildfires.
Caitlyn informed her family that she planned to stay in her Malibu home instead of evacuating. She declared her intention to remain outside with a hose to safeguard her property if necessary.
In a confessional interview, Kendall pondered over the complexity of her relationship with her father, stating: “I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my dad in a way because I love her. She’s my dad. We have a good relationship.
“I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family and I think that she gets lonely. You don’t ever want someone to be sad, especially your dad and someone you love and care about.”
Caitlyn, who mounted an unsuccessful gubernatorial bid in California back in 2021, has emerged as a prominent conservative commentator following her gender transition.
Although Kendall steered clear of political discourse, Caitlyn’s former spouse, Kris Jenner, has previously weighed in on such matters.
During a 2016 installment of I Am Cait, Kris confronted Caitlyn: “You’re not a politician, but you think you’re a politician sometimes. Sometimes, when you discuss your views with someone, not everyone will always agree. And sometimes, you can get a little cranky (about that.)”.
Caitlyn stands as an Olympic champion, media personality, and advocate for transgender rights.
