Kendra Scott is in awe of her fiancé, Zac Brown, but she’s most proud of how they’ve already blended their families.
Scott, 51, revealed on the Tuesday, October 28, episode of Today With Jenna & Friends that between her and Brown, 47, they share eight children, four boys and four girls, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“We are just having the time of our life,” Scott said confessed, noting the children’s ages range from 11 to 24.
The jewelry designer gushed, “The family, that’s what’s so beautiful. When you meet somebody and fall in love, that’s incredible. But then when you see your family connect and how beautiful they all get along, it’s overwhelming how happy that is.”
Scott is the mother of three, sharing sons Cade, 24, and Beck, 21, with first husband John Scott. She also shares son Grey, 12, with second husband Matt Davis, whom she divorced in 2020. Kendra was married a third time to Thomas Evans before her relationship with Zac, but the pair didn’t welcome any more children.
Brown, meanwhile, shares five children, son Alexander, 11, and daughters Justice, 18, Lucy, 17, Georgia, 15, and Joni, 14, with ex-wife Shelly Brown. The country singer split from Shelly in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. Zac moved on with Kelly Yazdi, whom he wed in summer 2023. The pair announced their separation in December of that year.
Kendra, for her part, quietly dated Zac for some time before they made their red carpet debut at the 2025 American Music Awards in May.

“That shared family value has been a big part of their connection,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly at the time, noting the couple met through a mutual friend. “They’re not just partners — they’re teammates.”
Two months after their first public outing, Zac and Kendra announced their engagement.
“It was golden hour. We danced together on the boat,” Kendra recalled of the African proposal on Tuesday. “We listened to the song, ‘I may not be your first, but I’ll be your last.’ … I think I just said, ‘Yes, yes, yes’ before he even got out, ‘Will you marry me?’”

The Texas-based designer revealed that Zac picked out her pink diamond engagement ring himself. “He said, ‘Baby, it’s the rarest, just like you.’ Could you die?” Kendra said.
She continued to gush about her partner, calling the “Chicken Fried” singer, “The cutest thing you’ve ever seen. He is the most darling person I’ve ever [known].”
While Kendra said she’s found her happily ever after with Zac, she told viewers on Tuesday that it wasn’t easy to find The One.

“Never give up. It’s never too late to get it right,” she told the audience, asking them to “believe in love. It can still happen.”
Kendra confirmed, “I am so happy and so grateful” after finding her prince charming in Zac.
Zac exclusively told Us in July that he feels the same way about his fiancée.
“Finding someone I’m so like-minded with and share and align in such a way, it’s such an incredible thing,” Brown said at the time. “It’s totally different than anything I’ve ever had before.”
