Royal fans have pinpointed the major difference between Victoria Beckham and Meghan Markle’s Netflix shows. Victoria’s self-titled show, ‘Victoria Beckham’, was released by the popular streaming service on October 9 – just six weeks after the release of the second series of ‘With Love, Meghan’.
With the second series released at the end of August, Meghan released the first series of With Love, Meghan’ back in March. Taking to X, one fan commented that Victoria’s show had a huge premiere to celebrate the release, whereas Meghan’s didn’t.
They commented: “Victoria got a premiere for her documentary. Guess that means Netflix thinks she is the real rock star.”
Victoria’s premiere took place at the Mayfair Curzon in London on October 8.
Noting Victoria’s past as a member of the Spice Girls, another commented: “She is a rockstar.”
Comparing the Beckhams to Meghan and Harry, another commented: “A true power couple through hard work, perseverance and a lot of talent in their chosen professions. The Markles are titled grifters and can’t even do that well.”
Another fan appeared to comment on Victoria’s husband David Beckham’s show, which was released back in 2023. The fan commented: “They did a premiere for David’s one too [cry-laughing emoji].”
Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham appeared to be forging a close friendship following the Beckhams’ attendance at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018. However, Meghan later claimed Victoria leaked a story to the press, which an insider has since dubbed “ridiculous”.
Speaking of the apparent “feud”, a source previously told The Sun: “Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified.
“Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it.”
