Khloé Kardashian and J-Lo lead celebrity support as Savannah Guthrie pleads for proof missing mother is alive

Khloé Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Hoda Kotb are among a host of celebrities rallying around Savannah Guthrie after the NBC star shared an emotional plea for information about her missing mother.

Savannah Guthrie, 54, posted a tearful video to Instagram on Wednesday night asking for proof that her mother, Nancy, is still alive after the 84-year-old vanished from her Arizona home over the weekend.

Khloé Kardashian led messages of support beneath the clip, writing: “I am praying, praying. I am so, so sorry for all you are going through. This is unimaginable. Bring her home.” Jennifer Lopez also showed her support by liking the post.

Guthrie’s longtime Today colleague Hoda Kotb reposted the video with the caption “bring her home,” later adding a second comment with prayer emojis.

Maria Shriver described the plea as “beautiful,” while Alyssa Milano, Kristin Chenoweth and Julianne Moore also shared messages of solidarity.

Further support came from Ryan Seacrest, Ricki Lake, Jennie Garth, Eric Stonestreet, Emma Heming Willis and several reality-TV stars, many repeating the same message: “Bring her home.”

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on Saturday evening after being dropped off at her large adobe-style home in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson by her son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni.

Police later found her phone, wallet and car at the property. Signs of a struggle were reportedly discovered, including a removed Ring doorbell and blood near the front entrance.

In the Instagram video, Savannah Guthrie appeared alongside her sister Annie and brother Camron as she described her mother’s fragile health.

“She is 84 years old. Her health, her heart is fragile. She lives in constant pain,” she said. “She is without her medication. She needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer.”

Addressing reports of a possible ransom demand, Guthrie said the family was ready to engage but asked for verification that her mother was alive.

“We live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated,” she said. “We need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive and that you have her. We are ready to listen.”

She then spoke directly to her mother, holding back tears. “Mommy, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter,” she said. “We will not rest until we are together again.”

Shortly after the video was posted, former US president Donald Trump said on Truth Social that he had spoken with Guthrie and ordered federal law enforcement to assist local authorities in the search.

Police confirmed the FBI returned to the Tucson property on Wednesday as the investigation intensified. No suspects have been identified and officers have said there is no threat to the wider public.

The video was captioned simply: “Bring her home.”
