Kid Rock isn’t backing down any time soon, no matter how much backlash he gets.
It was arranged to encourage conservative and right-wing viewers to boycott the Puerto Rican superstar headlining act after a slew of backlash over Bad Bunny’s appointment.
However, it appeared Kid Rock and TPUSA’s efforts backfired as those who are anti-MAGA have called the counter show “embarrassing.”
The rocker himself has also been accused of lip-syncing during his performance and was also called out by several fellow musicians for trying to overshadow Bad Bunny. President Donald Trump has yet to speak out on the gig, leading many to question where the rock star stands in the MAGA realm.
Nevertheless, one expert believes all this backlash won’t even touch the sides for Kid Rock. Speaking exclusively to Express US, TJ Higgs, an astrology expert, pointed out, “Backlash tends to land very differently depending on star sign, and in the case of Kid Rock, his Capricorn nature offers a clear clue as to why controversy rarely derails him.
“Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of endurance, authority, and long-term reputation, which means criticism doesn’t usually provoke an emotional reaction. Instead, it triggers resolve.”
TJ went on to explain, “Where other signs might soften, apologize or retreat, Capricorn energy tends to harden its stance and play the long game. For someone like Kid Rock, backlash is unlikely to feel threatening; if anything, it can reinforce his sense of identity and purpose.
“Capricorns are not driven by the need to be liked. They are far more concerned with standing by what they believe represents their truth, particularly if they feel they’ve earned their position.”
“While he doesn’t fit the polished, corporate Capricorn stereotype, he does embody the sign’s deeper traits — self-belief, stubbornness, resilience, and an unshakable sense of authority,” she continued.
She added, “When Capricorns go against social norms, it’s rarely impulsive rebellion. It’s a conscious decision to reject what they see as hypocrisy or performative morality.
