Kim Kardashian revealed in May that she spent 5,184 hours studying to get her law degree while juggling home and work life — but she doesn’t want the same for her children.
“I don’t believe in homework,” the reality star, 44, revealed during an appearance on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 3” livestream, via Page Six.
“But I’m going to tell you why. Kids are in school for eight hours a day,” said the mom to North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
“When they come home, they need to also — they do sports, have a life, spend time with their family,” Kim continued. “I think that homework should be left for in school.”

The hot take sparked debate among fans. “Kim really said ‘no homework’ like she’s running for president of the 6th grade,” one fan joked on X.
Others argued the benefits of homework and called her out for her privileged upbringing, with one commenter suggesting she has “no idea how basic life works.”
“Kim Kardashian giving education advice is like asking a goldfish for driving lessons,” added another.
However, many fans also grudgingly agreed, with several noting that “she’s got a point.”
Kim’s comments come just months after her sister Kourtney made controversial remarks about education as well.
“I think living authentically is not conforming to whatever it is,” Kourtney said on an episode of sister Khloé Kardashian’s Khloe in Wonder Land podcast in May.
“Like, let’s say the school system. I’ll think, ‘Why do kids f***ing go to school?’” the mom of four, 46, said at the time. “Truly. It’s so dated.”
