Kim Kardashian is stepping into a new role in Ryan Murphy’s latest legal drama, All’s Fair. The Hulu series marks Kardashian’s first lead role in a scripted project and reunites her with Murphy after last year’s American Horror Story: Delicate. Inspired by her real-life pursuit of a law career, Kardashian stars as Allura Grant, a high-profile divorce attorney navigating both the personal and professional chaos of her all-female firm.

Murphy described the series to Deadline as “a show about women getting the last word, which is something I think we all need right now.” He added that All’s Fair is about the “power of yes” and is “bringing back fashion to television in a really big way.”
Dana Walden, co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, praised the show’s blend of style and drama, saying, “Honestly, I would live in any of the houses, and I would like to have all of the clothes. It’s really juicy, and there’s nothing like it on television. In other words, what I’m saying is it’s a Ryan Murphy show. Over and over again, Ryan has brought us giant culture-defining hits, and he’s really done it again with this one.”
Alongside Kardashian, the ensemble cast features Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close—all of whom also serve as executive producers. Additional cast members include Matthew Noszka, Grace Gummer, Judith Light, Elizabeth Berkley, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Brooke Shields.
During an April episode of The Kardashians, Kim opened up about her nerves before filming opposite her A-list co-stars. “I’m nervous. I’m actually really nervous, cause I have to bring it,” she said. “The second episode I have a huge scene just me and Glenn Close, like a really important one.”
Later, in a confessional, she added, “We are talking about Cruella de Vil here. I am acting with Cruella de Vil.”
