Ever the fan of a vintage look, it should come as no surprise that Kim Kardashian turned to the archives when it came time to celebrate her 45th birthday.
The Skims founder commemorated her latest trip around the sun in Paris, where she stepped out for the French premiere of her new legal drama, All’s Fair (which begins streaming on November 4).
On the red carpet, she chose an icy-blue Dior by John Galliano dress, which stemmed from the house’s Spring/Summer 2000 Ready-to-Wear collection. But it turns out that wasn’t the only vintage look Kardashian had up her sleeve.
Later in the evening, the reality star was spotted again as she headed to the Crazy Horse cabaret for her own private celebrations, where she switched into a mythological-inspired corset dress from the Givenchy by Alexander McQueen 1997 Spring/Summer Couture collection.

At the center of the ensemble was a metallic gold corset, which featured a rounded, jutting neckline that pointed upwards on one side, while being concealed by a draping white sleeve on the other. Around the bottom, more white material hung in front and flowed behind her to create a toga-esque skirt. At the bottom hem, the milky fabric was also embroidered with a delicate gold thread.
Finally, Kardashian completed her look with a set of matching gold sandal heels, and she pulled her hair up into a tight bun, all while going sans jewelry—letting the vintage design speak for itself.
Over the years, Kardashian’s favorite place to shop has become the archives, whether she’s hitting the Met red carpet in a historic Marilyn Monroe gown, or she’s going to a concert in a rare piece from a Janet Jackson music video.
Evidently, as she begins another year of life, Kardashian won’t be changing those things patterns any time soon.
